The telephone scams are continuing, with a few different ones to be aware of. Automated calls informing you that you’ve placed an Amazon order for an expensive item, or that your Amazon Prime membership is renewing are undoubtedly bogus.
Automated calls informing you of a problem with your National Insurance number and threatening your arrest are also bogus.
Calls from “your Internet service provider” to tell you of a problem will also be bogus.
In short, don’t trust such calls, and never go to any websites that they give you. Don’t give them your personal details, log in credentials, or credit card details. Just hang up.
